Porterville Girl Killed in Tulare County Accident near Strathmore

September 29, 2014- A vehicle collision leads to a young girls death, in Tulare County.  The car accident took place near Strathmore, northwest of Porterville, on Monday, at 8 AM.

Jonathan Avila, was driving a 2003 Dodge Caravan north on Road 220.  At the intersection of Road 220 and Avenue 192 the minivan failed to yield and drove into the path of a red 2007 Ford f-250, driven by Misty Ann Jones of Lindsay.

The pickup truck smashed into the minivan, and the impact sent the Dodge 50 feet from the intersection.  The Ford spun out and hit a power pole.

Julissa Carmen Cortez, 13 years old, a passenger in the minivan was killed instantly in the collision.

Jones, and her passenger, Rylee Jones were not injured.  Avila also was uninjured in the incident.

Update: Motorcycle and SUV Collision on Millerton Road in Fresno County

Visalia Senior Citizen Abuse Attorney John L. Rozier has the following accident update; On Sunday, September 28,2014, the motorcyclist who was fatally wounded in the vehicle accident, near Millerton Lake, has been identified as Joseph Chiles, of Fresno.

The CHP reported that Joseph Chiles was westbound on his motorcycle, on Millerton Road, when the bike drifted into the eastbound lane.  It collided with a black Cadillac Escalade SUV, at about 3:30 PM.

Chiles died at the scene of the accident.

DUI Accident in Fresno County on Englehart and Dinuba Avenues

September 28, 2014- A pickup truck collision near Reedley, killed one and injured others, on Sunday.  The vehicle accident happened at about 9:20 PM, in Fresno County.

Rene Resendez, was driving a GMC pickup truck, with passenger Javier Hernandez, of Parlier.  Resendez was reported to have been driving drunk when he ran a stop sign, at the intersection of Englehart Avenue and Dinuba Avenue, east of Reedley.

The GMC crashed into a Nissan Altima sedan, that had four occupants, including driver Omar Torres-Lopez, of Reedley.  The pickup truck overturned from the impact.  Hernandez, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the pickup.  He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The four victims in the Nissan suffered minor to major injuries.  Resendez sustained moderate injuries.  They were all transported to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno, for treatment.

Visalia Car Collision on County Center Drive

September 28, 2014- A single vehicle accident happened in Tulare County, on Sunday.  The car collision occurred in Visalia, at about 1:23 AM.

A man was driving his automobile on County Center Drive, near Cameron Avenue.  The driver drifted off the road, for an unknown reason, and crashed into two trees.  The car overturned onto its side, and the man was pinned inside.

Emergency personnel used the jaws of life to extract the driver from his vehicle.  He suffered moderate injures, and was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, in Visalia.

Rollover Accident on Walnut Avenue and Ben Maddox in Visalia

SUV Rollover Accident on Interstate 5 near Coalinga

September 28, 2014- A single vehicle accident on Interstate 5, near Coalinga ends in fatality.  The Fresno County SUV collision took place on Sunday, at approximately 12:05 AM.

A 26 year old man, from Portland, was driving north in a 1988 Mercury Mountaineer, on the I-5 freeway.  As the SUV was north of Hudson Avenue, it drifted off the highway to the left, and lost control.  The Sport Utility Vehicle overturned multiple times and came to rest in the right lane of the Interstate.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident.  A 33 year old woman, who was a passenger in the Mercury, sustained minor injuries.

Four Car Pile-up Collision on Shaw Avenue in Fresno, Motorcycle Rider Hurt

Visalia Elder Abuse Lawyer John L. Rozier has the following crash report: On Saturday, September 27, 2014, a four vehicle pileup took place in northwest Fresno.  The car collision, which happened at 11:25 AM, caused a motorcyclist to get run over.

The vehicle accident occurred at Shaw Avenue and Barcus Avenue, just east of Highway 99.  One of the automobiles was traveling on Shaw, when it braked for slowed traffic.  This caused a chain reaction of crashes.

The motorcycle involved was struck by a Chevy Avalanche pickup.

The biker sustained moderate injuries, including a possible broken rib.  He was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.  A 4 year old boy who was also involved in the crash, was taken to the hospital for potential head injuries.

Motorcycle and SUV Collision on Millerton Road in Fresno County

September 28, 2014- A motorcycle collision in Fresno County, kills one man, on Sunday.  The SUV accident took place near Millerton Lake, at about 3:30 PM.

The 23 year old motorcyclist was westbound on Millerton Road, near Friant, when the bike drifted into the eastbound lane.  The motorcycle collided head-on with a black Cadillac Escalade SUV.  The Sport Utility Vehicle's driver attempted to stop and swerve out of the way, but could not avoid the biker.

The man was thrown from the motorcycle, and died at the scene of the crash.  The two people in the Cadillac were not injured in the incident.

Patrol Vehicle Crash in Kern County Ends Fatally for One Woman

Visalia Elderly Maltreatment Attorney John Rozier has the following report; On Sunday, September 28, 2014,  an early morning crash between a patrol car and another vehicle leaves one dead.  The car accident occurred in Oildale, near Bakersfield, at about 1:45 AM.

A Kern County Sheriff's  patrol vehicle, driven by Deputy Nicholas Clerico, was driving south on North Chester Avenue.  He was on his way to help another officer with someone resisting arrest.  It is reported that the vehicle had its lights and sirens on, when Clerico entered the intersection of China Grade Loop.

A second vehicle, driven by Nancy Joy Garrett, of Bakersfield, was traveling on China Grade Loop at the same time as the patrol car, and crashed into the deputy.

Garrett suffered serious injuries and was taken to Kern Medical Center, were she later died.  Deputy Clerico sustained moderate injuries and was also taken to the hospital for treatment.

The collision is being investigated by Bakersfield CHP with assistance from Central Division MAIT.

Fatality After Big Rig Accident on Highway 99 in Kern County

September 27, 2014- A big rig accident on Highway 99 leaves one man fatally wounded, in Kern County.  The semi truck collision occurred in Bakersfield, on Saturday, at about 6 PM.

Horacio Ramirez Herrera, of Delano, was driving northbound on Highway 99, in a silver Hyundai Sonata.  He was just south of Lerdo Highway, when he lost control of the Hyundai and smashed into the back of a tractor trailer.

The car was dragged for approximately 300 feet before the semi pulled over and stopped.

Herrera was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.  His passenger suffered major injuries and was taken to the hospital.  The big rig driver was reported to have been uninjured.

Car Collision on Highway 41, in Fresno Leads to Fatality

Visalia Senior Citizen Abuse Lawyer John L. Rozier has the following collision report; On Saturday, September 27, 2014, a single-vehicle accident leads to fatality on Highway 41.  The car crash occurred in downtown Fresno, at about 12:30 AM.

A 22 year old man was driving a 1992 Honda, traveling south on Highway 41.  His vehicle veered onto the right shoulder of the roadway, south of Tulare Street.  The driver over-corrected, which caused the Honda swerved left across the southbound freeway, and crash into the concrete barrier in the center of the highway.

The car rolled over and the man was ejected from the vehicle, onto the concrete median.

The man suffered major injuries and was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, where he later died.

Off-Road Motorcycle Accident near Dinuba, Injures One

September 23, 2014- A dirt bike accident in Tulare County leaves one man majorly hurt.  The vehicle collision occurred southeast of Dinuba, on Tuesday, at about 7:30 PM.

Charles Pelham, 25 year old, of Sultana, was riding a dirt bike on private property, near Road 108 and Avenue 384.  The off-road motorcycle lost control and the biker rode it into an irrigation canal.

Pelham suffered serious injuries, and was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.

Tulare County Truck Accident near Goshen on Road 60

Visalia Nursing Home Lawyer John Rozier has the following accident report; On Saturday, September 20, 2014, a vehicle collision took place in Tulare County.  The crash happened near Goshen, at about 11:30 AM.

A water truck, driven by a 45 year old Fresno man, was southbound on Road 60, north of Avenue 320.  As he was driving, the truck hit a deep pot hole, and the driver lost control of the vehicle.  The water truck swerved into the orchard, to avoid driving onto Highway 99 and into traffic.

The F650 truck hit several trees in the orchard, and flipped over.  The driver was ejected from the vehicle, and fatally injured.

September 23, 2014- A pedestrian accident kills one man, in downtown Fresno.  The vehicle collision took place Tuesday, at about 10:30 PM.

Pedestrian Hurt in Car Accident on Adkisson Way in Taft

September 24, 2014- A car crash left one woman seriously injured, in Kern County, on Wednesday.  The pedestrian accident happened in Taft, southwest of Bakersfield, at about 8:45 PM.

Viviana Camacho, 19 years old, was walking southbound crossing the street at Adkisson Way, near the intersection with First Street.

A vehicle was driving east on Kern Street, merging onto Adkisson Way, struck Camacho as she crossed.  The driver stopped and called for help.

Camacho suffered major injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Tulare County Fatal Vehicle Collision on Avenue 24, near Earlimart

Visalia Elderly Maltreatment Lawyer John Rozier has the following accident update: On Tuesday, September 23, 2014, a vehicle collision in Tulare County killed two people.  The car accident happened southeast of Earlimart, at about 6:15 AM.

A 31 year old Strathmore man, and a 30 year old Porterville man, who was the passenger, were driving west on Avenue 24, in a 1995 Acura.  The Acura stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of Avenue 24 and Road 160, north of Delano.

For an unknown reason the driver pulled out in front of a 1996 GMC pickup truck that had the right of way.  The truck, driven by Antonio Nunez, of McFarland, was traveling north on Road 160 at 55 mph.

Nunez tried to stop, but could not in time, and the vehicles collided.

Both the driver and passenger in the Acura suffered fatal injuries.

Fresno County Auto Collision on Shepherd Avenue in Clovis

September 25, 2014- A car collision closed a Clovis street to traffic, on Thursday.  The vehicle accident took place in Fresno County, at about 6:15 PM.

Motorcycle Collision on California Avenue Near Kerman

Wayne Kangiser Jr was riding on his Yamaha motorcycle head west California Avenue, west of Howard Avenue.  He collided with a 2011 Dodge driven by Jarret Kirby, 19, of Clovis.  The crash occurred after Kirby, who was eastbound on California Avenue, made a U-turn.

Kangiser Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.

I-5 Automobile Collision Ends Fatally Near Patterson

August 25, 2014- One person was killed in a vehicle accident on Interstate 5, near Patterson.  The Stanislaus County car collision took place on Monday, at about 10:47 PM.

An automobile was northbound on I-5, between Fink and Sperry Roads, when the vehicle overturned multiple times.  The car came to rest in the southbound lanes of the freeway.

Two people were thrown from the vehicle.  One of the victims died at the scene of the crash.  The other one suffered serious injuries, and was airlifted to an area hospital.

Fatal Modesto Car Collision on State Route 108

Visalia Nursing Home Attorney John Rozier has the subsequent accident report; On Saturday, August 23, 2014, a car accident ended in fatality in Modesto.  The vehicle collision occurred at about 7:45 PM on Highway 108.

A 2012 Ford Fusion was driving on State Route 108, near Kennedy Road, when the driver was unable to make a turn at the bend in the roadway.

North Fork Car Accident Leaves One Woman Injured

September 13, 2014- An automobile collision leaves female driver seriously hurt, in Madera County.  The car accident took place Saturday, in North Fork, at approximately 4:19 PM.

Cara Duke was driving a 2012 Mazda southbound on Road 274 north of Putney Place, when she lost control of the vehicle, steering it off the east side of the roadway.

The vehicle drove over a curb and off the roadway, then down a dirt embankment.  The Mazda then hit some large oak trees, head-on.

Duke suffered major injuries and was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.

Pedestrian Collision in Southeast Visalia on Noble Avenue and McAulliff Street

Head-on Crash on Highway 33 near Coalinga Leads to Fatality

August 29, 2014-  A Paso Robles man died after a head-on car collision, near Coalinga.  The Fresno County vehicle accident happened on Friday night.

The man was driving a 1994 Mazda south on Highway 33 when he drifted off the roadway to the right and then swerved back onto the road.  The quick turn caused the man to veer across the southbound lane into oncoming traffic and hit a 2007 Toyota with five passengers from Paso Robles, that was headed north.

The Toyota's driver Scott Martini, 33, had minor injuries. Passengers Roselle Martini, 32, and three children, ages 6, 7 and 13, had minor to moderate injuries. They were all taken by ambulance to Hanford Medical Center for treatment.  The Mazda driver was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.

Multiple Vehicle Collision Kills One near Ceres on Grayson Road

Visalia Elderly Maltreatment Attorney John Rozier has the following report; On Wednesday , September 24, 2014, one man was killed in an auto accident in Stanislaus County.  The multi-car collision occurred southwest of Ceres, at about 5:40 AM.

Luis Vallecillo-Aguilar, of Empire, was driving a dark red GMC pickup truck, headed west on Grayson Road.  At the same time Daniel Florez, of Modesto, was traveling south on Vivian Road, in a silver Acura.

At the intersection of Vivian and Grayson roads, Florez drove through the marked stop sign.  The Acura broadsided the GMC truck, and the pickup spun out into the eastbound lanes.  In the oncoming lanes a yellow Chevy pickup truck, driven by Homero Pimentel, of Patterson, hit the GMC on the driver's side.

The Chevrolet caught fire and the Acura came to rest in a field.

Vallecillo-Aguilar was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

Pimental sustained serious injuries, including burns, and was airlifted to UC Davis Medical Center, in Sacramento.  Florez was also hurt and taken to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto for treatment.

Big Rig's Load Falls on Car in Accident near Delano on Avenue 8

August 28, 2014- A cargo truck load falls on car in automobile collision in Kern County.  The vehicle accident happened near Delano, on Thursday, at about 4:40 PM.

An International semi truck, driven by Andres Rios Jr., of McFarland, was traveling east on Avenue 8, east of Road 152.  The load in the truck was not properly secured, and when a 1999 Infiniti, driven by Gloria Rivera Ayon, passed while driving westbound, the cargo fell on top of the car.

The driver lost control of the Infiniti, and the vehicle left the road and smashed into two almond trees.

Ayon and her passenger, Esmerelda Rivera Ayon, both from Delano, sustained minor injuries.  They were taken by ambulance, to Delano Regional Medical Center.

Highway 152 Traffic Slowed by Truck & Trailer Accident

Visalia Senior Citizen Abuse Lawyer John L. Rozier has the following collision update; On Friday, September 5, 2014, a vehicle accident snarled traffic in Merced County.  The pickup truck crash took place on Highway 152, west of Los Banos, near the San Luis Reservoir.

A pickup truck towing a travel trailer was headed east on Highway 152, when the driver lost control.  The trailer overturned and blocked the roadway.  As a result traffic on the highway was back up until emergency personnel cleared the scene.

The two people in the pickup truck sustained minor injuries.  The driver was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, and the passenger was transported to a Modesto hospital.

DUI Accident Ends in Fatality on Wilson Road in Bakersfield

September 7, 2014- An SUV accident ends in fatality, in Kern County, after the vehicle hit a woman in a wheelchair.  The car collision happened in Bakersfield, on Sunday evening.

Renold Elder, 63 years old, was driving a grey Sport Utility Vehicle in Wilson Road area, near Wilson Towers.  Maria Luquin, 67 years old, was in her motorized wheelchair in the same Wilson Rd. vicinity.

Elder was seen driving erratically in a parking lot.  It is reported that he hit several parked cars, and then hit Luquin.  The SUV pushed the wheelchair into a cinder block wall, trapping the woman.

Luquin suffered major injuries, and was taken to the hospital where she later died.

Elder was arrested for DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter.

Northwest Fresno Car Accident on Herndon and Van Ness

Visalia Nursing Home Lawyer John Rozier has the following accident report; On Wednesday, September 24, 2014, a car collision leaves three injured.  The vehicle crash took place in northwest Fresno, at about 12:30 AM.

The driver of a Mazda automobile was traveling in the area of Herndon Avenue and Van Ness Avenue.  The car, for an unexplained reason, lost control and hit a tree, then crashed into a brick wall.

There were three people in the Mazda during the accident.  One of the victims was pinned inside the vehicle, until emergency crews were able to get him out.

Update: Six Car Pileup on Caldwell Avenue and Shirk Road, in Visalia

September 18, 2014- An update to the six vehicle collision in Visalia, on Thursday.  The name of the victim that was killed in the car accident has been released, by the Tulare County Coroner's office.

The female driver of the Toyota Corolla, has been identified as Janine Elizabeth Lee, of Visalia.

The pileup occurred when Brandon Lovenburg, 31 years old, was also eastbound on Caldwell Ave, in a 2005 Ford Excursion.  Lovenburg failed to stop in time, and hit the back of the Toyota, which was waiting along with other vehicles to turn left onto Shirk Road.  The impact of the collision, pushed the Corolla into the oncoming lane of traffic, where it smashed into a westbound 2006 Pontiac G-6, driven by Lorena Torres, of Tulare.

After colliding with the Toyota, Lovenburg's SUV then struck the back of a 2012 Ford Edge, driven by Benjamin Kiester, of Lemoore.  This caused a chain reaction of crashes, with the Edge, hitting a 2007 Chevy Silverado, driven by Nathan Jaramilla, and the Silverado then ran into a 2008 Ford Ranger, driven by Jason Hout.

Lee was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.  Kiester and Torres sustained minor injuries.  Lovenburg was not injured.  Neither was Jaramillo, nor Hout hurt.

Head-on Vehicle Collision on Highway 41 in Coarsegold

September 6, 2014- A head-on collision on Saturday, in Madera County, closes Highway 41 for more than an hour.  The vehicle accident occurred in Coarsegold, at about 4:15 PM.

Sean Heath, of Oakhurst, was traveling north on Highway 41, in a 2006 Nissan Altima, north of Yosemite Springs Parkway.  Heath unbuckled his seatbelt to adjust his shirt, and his Nissan crossed into the oncoming lane of traffic.

The car drove directly into the path of Michael Willis, of Madera, who was driving his Dodge Dakota pickup truck southbound.  The two cars collided head-on.

Both Heath and Willis suffered injuries, and were taken to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno for treatment.

Southbound Highway 99 Semi Truck Accident in Madera

Visalia Elder Abuse Attorney John L. Rozier has the subsequent update; On Monday, September 22, 2014, a tractor-trailer overturned on Highway 99.  The big rig collision occurred in Madera, at about 2:30 PM.

A semi truck carrying a load of hay was traveling south on Highway 99, north of Avenue 12.  The big rig lost control and flipped over, spilling its bales of hay all over both sides of the southbound freeway.

The highway traffic was backed up for about an hour while crews worked to clear the wreckage.

No reports on whether anyone was injured in the incident.

School Bus Collision in Firebaugh, Five People Hurt

September 22, 2014- A Firebaugh school bus accident leaves five people injured, in Fresno County.  The vehicle collision happened on Monday, at approximately 7:20 AM.

A Firebaugh-Las Deltas Unified School District bus was driving at Avenue 7 1/2 and Aliso Canal, when a black, GMC pickup truck collided with it.  Damage was done to the back of the bus, and the front of the truck.

The incident caused minor injuries to five people.  They were taken to Madera Community Hospital for treatment.

Vehicle Accident on Kings Canyon Road and Willow Avenue, in Fresno

Los Banos Automobile Collision on Sandy Mush Road

September 16, 2014- A car collision was reported in the Los Banos area, on Tuesday.  The automobile accident took place on Sandy Mush Road, at approximately 7:34 AM.

A vehicle collision occurred a few minutes earlier on Sandy Mush Road, and as a result traffic had slowed down.  Maria Elena Magana, of Los Banos, was traveling eastbound in a Nissan Altima, and had stopped at the scene of the initial accident.

Audrey Maria Ventura, of Los Banos, was driving a silver Mitsubishi Galant east on Sandy Mush Road, approaching the Nissan Altima, at an unknown rate of speed.

Ventura failed to stop for the stalled traffic, and smashed into the back of Magana's vehicle.

Magana sustained minor injuries, but refused to be treated.  Ventura was reported to have no injuries.

Merced County Vehicle Collision on Sandy Mush Road near Los Banos

Visalia Senior Citizen Abuse Attorney John L. Rozier has the following accident report; On Tuesday, September 16, 2014, a pickup truck collision happened in Merced County.  The vehicle crash occurred in the Los Banos area, at about 7:25 AM.

Michael Delemos, of Hilmar, was driving a white Ford F650 truck, east on Sandy Mush Road, near Dan McNamara Road.  At the same time Migdalia Chid, of Los Banos, was traveling eastbound as well on Sandy Mush Road at about 60 miles per hour, in a grey Ford Fusion.

Delemos began to slow down to make a left-hand turn onto a dirt road.  Chid was trying to pass a sedan on that same road, right when the pickup truck was making the turn.  The right rear of the Ford F650 hit the left front of the Ford Fusion.

Chid suffered moderate injuries, and was airlifted to a regional hospital.  Delemos was not hurt in the collision.

Pedestrian Accident in East Central Fresno on Madison Avenue

September 14, 2014- An auto collision leaves one pedestrian injured in Fresno.  The car accident happened on Sunday, in East Central Fresno, at about 4 PM.

The victim was crossing the street at Madison Avenue, near Dewitt, when he was hit by a silver sedan.  The driver said that he did not see the pedestrian, before it was too late.  The man was knocked onto the vehicle's windshield.

The man suffered injuries and was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, for treatment.  It is reported that he will recover.

Pedestrian Killed in Semi Truck Accident on Highway 99 in Madera County

Carlos Manuel Saldana, of Planada, was walking on the side of northbound Highway 99, at Avenue 23 1/2, when he was struck by a big rig north of Highway 152.

September 17, 2014- An automobile collision occurred in Bakersfield, on Wednesday morning.  The Kern County car accident took place on Stockdale Highway.

The vehicle involved was in the parking lot of a local Mcdonald's on Stockdale Highway, when it hit a handicap sign.  The sign was knocked over, and smashed into a front window of the fast food restaurant.  The sign caused damage to the building.

Tractor-Trailer Accident on Highway 198 and 43 in Hanford

September 18, 2014- A big rig collision happened in Kings County, on Thursday.  The semi truck accident occurred on Highway 198, in Hanford, at approximately 5 PM.

A tractor-trailer was traveling westbound on Highway 198, near the intersection of Highway 43.  The driver reportedly lost control of the semi, and the vehicle overturned.  The big rig blocked traffic on the highway intersection for hours while clean up was attempted.

Highway 99 Big Rig Accident Ends Fatally Near Kingsburg

September 13, 2014- A semi truck accident ends in fatality, on Highway 99.  The big rig collision happened south of Kingsburg, at about 12 AM, on Saturday.

The driver of the tractor-trailer, a 37 year old Ceres man, was driving  south on the freeway, when he drifted into the center median as the rig was south of Road 12.  The semi collided into a parked water truck, that was unoccupied.  The impact of the collision then pushed the water tanker, into another parked vehicle, this time a dump truck.

The crash caused the semi truck's left-side fuel tank to rupture and spill oil onto the highway.

The Ceres man died at the scene of the accident.

Motorcycle Crash in Bakersfield Ends in Fatality on Alfred Harrell Highway

September 17, 2014- A motorcycle accident leaves one man fatally injured, in Kern County.  The vehicle collision happened in Bakersfield, on Wednesday, at about 12 AM.

Cody Abel Jimenez, was driving his motorcycle on Alfred Harrell Highway, at Tuscany Hills Drive, when the bike veered off the roadway.  Jimenez lost control and was ejected from the vehicle.

Jimenez died from his injuries.

Four Vehicle Pileup Accident on Highway 152, near Los Banos

Visalia Senior Citizen Abuse Lawyer John L. Rozier has the following collision update; On Monday, September 8, 2014, a multiple car accident ends in one fatality.  The four-vehicle crash took place on Highway 152, near Los Banos, at about 7:30 AM.

Ronald Tingley, was riding a 2006 Honda Goldwing motorcycle westbound on Highway 152, near the Romero Visitors Center.  A 2010 Honda Civic, driven by Julia Felice, of Salinas, was traveling east on the highway, when she lost control of her vehicle.

The Civic drove over the center median, and into the oncoming westbound traffic.  The car collided with a 1982 Datsun 280ZX, driven by Kirk Goodall, of San Mateo.  The Honda then smashed into the motorcycle driven by Tingley.  Tingley was thrown from the bike.

A semi truck driven by Jhalman Nurpuri, of Manteca, tried to avoid the collision, but the big rig struck the Honda Civic.

Tingley was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

Felice sustained minor injuries and was taken to Memorial Hospital Los Banos for treatment.  The others involved were reported to have no injuries.

Mulit-Vehicle Collision Involving Firetrucks on Highway 41 in Fresno County

September 15, 2014- A multi-vehicle collision that involved two fire engines and one other car, occurred on Highway 41, on Monday.  The Fresno County accident happened north of Shaw Avenue, at approximately 12:42 PM.

Two Cal Fire trucks were traveling on southbound Highway 41, coming back from fighting the Courtney Fire in the Oakhurst area.  A white automobile that was also headed south on the highway, collided into the back of one fire engine, and was hit from behind as well.

Three people suffered serious injuries, and at least one person was pinned under a truck.

It is reported that the firefighters involved in the crash were not hurt, and were able to get out and help the people in the car.

Fiery Big Rig Collision on Highway 99 near Paname Lane

Bakersfield Automobile Accident on Highway 58 & Milham Drive

September 10, 2014- An automobile accident sends car off the freeway in Kern County, on Wednesday.  The car collision happened in Bakersfield on Highway 58, at about 2:25 PM.

A woman driving a car was headed westbound on Highway 58, when for an unknown reason she lost control of the vehicle.  The car drove off the freeway, and came to rest near homes at South Milham Drive.

Kern County Fatal Car Collision on Cottonwood Road in Bakersfield

Two Big Rigs Crash on Interstate 5 in Kern County, near the Grapevine

September 10, 2014- A semi truck collision shuts down some of the freeway on I-5, near the Grapevine.  The big rig accident happened in Kern County, on Wednesday afternoon.

It is reported that one of the tractor-trailer's drivers was traveling too fast on southbound Interstate 5.  The driver smashed into the back of another semi truck as they were headed down the highway.

The driver of the big rig that hit the back of the other rig, suffered moderate injuries and was airlifted to a hospital for treatment.  The other truck's driver was reported to not have been injured.

A couple of I-5's lanes were closed while the CHP investigated the incident, and the wreckage was cleared.

Visalia Elderly Maltreatment Lawyer John Rozier has the following update: On Wednesday, September 10, 2014, a teenaged boy was killed in an automobile collision.  The car accident occurred in Tulare County, near Porterville, at about 5:25 PM.

The 15 year old victim, was driving a 1996 Toyota, traveling at a high rate of speed on Road 196.  The Toyota attempted to pass a sedan as it drove north, south of Avenue 192.  The vehicle lost control, swerved off and then back on the road, and then was hit by a 1998 Mitsubishi.

The Mitsubishi was driven by a 27 year old Porterville man, and was southbound on Road 196.

It is reported that the occupants of the 4 door sedan, possibly a Pontiac, took the driver of the Toyota, after the collision, and dropped him off at Sierra View District Hospital, in Porterville.  The teenager later died at the hospital.  Authorities are looking to identify the three Hispanic males that were in the sedan.

The driver of the Mitsubishi was not injured in the crash.

Tulare County Collisions in Lindsay and Porterville

September 7, 2014- A vehicle collision leaves three people hurt in Tulare County.  The car accident occurred in Lindsay, on Sunday, at about 1 PM.

Two vehicles were involved in the crash, that took place on Avenue 240 and Parkside Avenue.

Three victims sustained injuries and taken to the hospital for treatment.

A separate incident also occurred in Tulare County, on Saturday, September 6, 2014.  This collision happened near Porterville, just before 1 PM, at 21915 Avenue 152.

One driver suffered injuries after the vehicle overturned, as a result of the crash.

No other information is known at this time.

Lindsay Vehicle Accident After a Police Car Chase in Tulare County

Visalia Senior Citizen Abuse Attorney John L. Rozier has the following crash report; On Sunday, September 7, 2014, a car chase leads to vehicle collision, in Tulare County.  The automobile accident happened in Lindsay, at about 9:20 PM.

The California Highway Patrol reported that Miguel Villalpando was suspected of driving under the influence and tried to evade police by driving without the car's lights on.  As he was traveling on Highway 65, in his 2003 Honda Accord, he slammed into the back of a Ford Expedition.

The Expedition, which was driven by Christina Zaragola, of Strathmore, was stopped at the stop light at the intersection of the highway and Hermosa Avenue.

Villalpando, and his passengers, Jesus Perez, and Erik Medina, sustained minor to moderate injuries.  Zaragola suffered minor injuries in the collision.

Update: Motorcyclist Hurt in Crash on Highway 178 in Kern County

September 8, 2014- The motorcyclist that was seriously injured in the accident that took place on Monday, in Bakersfield, has now died from his wounds.  The vehicle collision happened on Highway 178, at about 12:45 AM.

The biker has been identified by the Kern County coroner's office, as Tim Dooley, 52 years old, a resident of Fresno.

The motorcycle crash occurred on the freeway, near Morning Drive.  Officer's reported that Dooley's bike was hit by a car.

Dooley was taken to Kern Medical Center, in Bakersfield, where he later died from his injuries.

Motorcyclist Hurt in Crash on Highway 178 in Kern County

Visalia Nursing Home Attorney John L. Rozier has the following accident report; On Monday, September 8, 2014, a motorcycle collision took place in Kern County.  The vehicle crash happened at about 12:45 AM, in Bakersfield.

The rider of the motorcycle was traveling on Highway 178, near Morning Drive.  For an unexplained reason the biker lost control and crashed.

He suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Multi-Vehicle Collision on Panama Lane and Ashe Road in Bakersfield

September 9, 2014- A multiple car accident leaves one man dead, in Kern County, on Tuesday.  The vehicle collision occurred in Bakersfield, at about 8 AM.

Stanley Eugene Henry, 79 years old, was driving a silver 2012 Hyundai Accent that was pulling a trailer, east on Panama Lane.  As the Hyundai entered the intersection at Ashe Road, a blue Mercury Villager minivan headed south went through the red light at Ashe Rd. and smashed into the other vehicle.

Henry's Hyundai was pushed into a city light repair truck in the northbound lanes of Ashe Road.  A silver 2013 Chevy pickup truck was also hit by either the Mercury or the Hyundai.

Stanley Henry was killed in the accident.  The female driver of the minivan sustained injuries and was taken to a local hospital.

No other injuries were reported.

Motorcycle Collision near Clovis on Auberry Road

Visalia Elder Abuse Lawyer John L. Rozier has the subsequent collision report; On Monday, September 1, 2014, a motorcycle accident leaves one person in serious condition.  The vehicle crash took place near Clovis, in Fresno County, at about 2 PM.

The CHP reported that the accident happened between a motorcycle and another vehicle, on Auberry Road and East Copper Avenue.

One victim was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.  No other information is known at this time.
