Tulare County Car Accident on Highway 190, West of Porterville

Tulare County Automobile Collision Lawyer John Rozier has the following accident to report; On Thursday, July 30, 2015, a two-vehicle crash happened near Porterville.  The car collision occurred on Highway 190, at around 10:50 AM.

A white Ford Taurus, driven by Yeraldin Navarette, 21, of Lathrop, was traveling west on Highway 190, nearing Road 200.  The vehicle turned to the right, toward Road 200, then veered back around onto the highway.

At that time a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck, driven by Peter Dutton, of Springville, was driving on Hwy 190, behind the Ford.  When Navarette drove back onto the highway, the Toyota crashed into the driver's side of the Taurus.

Navarette and a 5 year old boy who was an occupant in the Ford, suffered severe injuries.  The child was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.  The driver was taken by ambulance to the same hospital.

Dutton was unharmed.

Motorcycle Crash Ends in Fatality, in Bakersfield, on White Lane

July 31, 2015- A motorcycle accident ends in fatality, on Friday, in Kern County.  The car collision took place in southwest Bakersfield, at approximately 3:16 AM.

The crash happened on White Lane, between Gosford and Old River roads.  A motorcyclist was traveling westbound on White Lane, when his bike hit the median.  The motorcycle traveled over the center divide and into oncoming traffic, where the biker ran into a vehicle driving east.

The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.  A woman, who was a passenger on the bike, suffered moderate injuries.  She was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The driver of the automobile was said to have not been hurt.

Fatal Tractor-Trailer Accident in Tulare County, on Highway 65

Central California Car Collision Attorney John L. Rozier has the following report; On Monday, July 27, 2015, a semi truck collided with an SUV.  The fatal vehicle accident happened on Highway 65, in Tulare County, at about 5:30 PM.

A Porterville man, 28, was driving a 2000 Dodge Durango, headed south on Highway 65.  As the Dodge was traveling, just southeast of Tulare, near State Route 137, the driver attempted to make a U-turn.

At the time the Sport Utility Vehicle pulled right to turn, a 2010 Kenworth big rig was southbound on the highway.  The truck driver was not able to stop in time, and smashed into the SUV.

The driver of the Dodge, and the front passenger, 70, died in the collision.  Another occupant in the SUV, who was 23 years old, suffered serious injuries.  He was taken by ambulance to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, in Visalia.

The semi truck driver was not hurt in the incident.

Motorcycle and Car Collision Causes Fire on Highway 178, in Kern County

July 29, 2015- A motorcycle collision sparks a grass fire in Kern County, on Wednesday.  The vehicle accident occurred on Highway 178, at approximately 5:00 PM.

The crash involved a motorcycle and one car.  The incident happened in the Kern River Canyon, near the Lower Richbar Campground.

Upon collision of the two vehicles, a fire erupted, soon engulfing both in flames.  The fire burned about a quarter-acre of grass along Highway 178, before firefighters could put it out.

The motorcyclist and two occupants in the automobile received minor injuries.

Fatal Pickup Truck Collision near Delano, at Stradley Avenue and Schuster Road

On July 24, 2015, a vehicle accident left a Tulare woman fatally injured, in Kern County.  The pickup truck collision occurred south of Delano, Friday morning.

Yolanda Regalado Matinez, of Tulare, was driving a 2006 Nissan Murano, with passengers; Maricela Lopez Contreras, 49, and Victor Manuel, 27.  The Nissan was reported to failed to clear traffic before it turned from Stradley Avenue, onto Schuster Road.  The Murano traveled into the path of a Ford F-150 pickup truck.

The impact of the collision sent both vehicles off the roadway.  The Nissan smashed into a stop sign, and Lopez Contreras was thrown from the car.  She was reported to have been wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

Lopez Contreras died at the scene of the incident.  Regalado Matinez, and Manuel sustained moderate injuries and were taken to Delano Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The driver and passenger of the Ford truck; Francisco Vasquez and Esperanza Vasquez, suffered minor injuries.

Bicycle and Car Collision on Lacey Boulevard, in Hanford

On Saturday, July 18, 2015, a bicyclist was hurt in a vehicle collision in Hanford.  The car accident occurred near Jessie Street and Lacey Boulevard, at around 7:50 PM.

Eduardo Olivera was driving his vehicle south on Jessie Street and attempted to turn right onto Lacey Boulevard.  He stopped at the posted stop sign and entered the intersection.  As the car turned a bike, ridden by Raymond Garcia, was traveling on the wrong side of the roadway along Lacey Blvd.

The bicycle hit the car and Garcia was ejected and fell into the street.

Garcia suffered injuries and was taken by ambulance to Adventist Medical Center.

Olivera was not hurt in the collision.

Bakersfield Car Collision on Northbound Highway 99

July 23, 2015- A car crash on northbound Highway 99, took place in Bakersfield.  The Kern County automobile collision happened on Thursday, at about 8:00 AM.

The CHP reported that the Hwy 99 north accident happened near California Avenue.  The incident blocked the slow lane and the right shoulder of the freeway, with traffic backed up to Ming Avenue.

No injuries were reported.

Semi Truck Accident Ends in Fatality, in Kings County, on Highway 43

Tulare County Personal Injury Lawyer John Rozier has the following collision report; On Friday, July 17, 2015, a big rig accident took place in Kings County.  The fatal semi truck crash happened on Highway 43, at about 1:15 PM.

Rigoberto Ledesma Jr., 36 years old, of Tulare, was driving a tractor-trailer on Highway 43.  The big rig stopped at the intersection of the highway and 4th Avenue.

At that time a car was northbound on Highway 43, when it went around a gradual curve before coming to the intersection.  The automobile crossed the central divider, hit two light poles, and crashed into the semi truck.

Ledesma suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Tulare Regional Medical Center.

The unidentified driver, who was reported to have been from Bakersfield, died at the scene of the collision.

Head-on Truck Accident on Lacey Boulevard, in Hanford

July 20, 2015- A head-on truck collision occurred in Kings County, on Monday.  The vehicle accident happened in Hanford, at around 12:40 PM.

Alicia Rubio, 53, was driving a 2004 Chevy Colorado pickup, traveling west on Lacey Boulevard.  For an unknown reason the Chevrolet veered into the oncoming lane of traffic and crashed head-on into a 1997 Ford F-150.

Rubio sustained minor injuries and did not need medical treatment.  Her son Rodrigo Rubio, 16, was a passenger in the pickup truck.  He suffered major injuries and was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.

The driver of the Ford; Arturo Perez Jr., 20, was not hurt in the incident.

Car Collision in Tulare County, at Avenue 352 and Road 132, near Visalia

On Wednesday, July 15, 2015, an automobile collision leaves two hurt, in Tulare County.  The car accident happened at approximately 7:21 AM, north of Visalia.

Jose Gutierrez, of Visalia, was driving a 2006 Toyota Sienna van west on Avenue 352.  At the intersection of Ave 352 and Road 132, Gutierrez did not stop at the posted stop sign.

The Sienna smashed into a red 1999 Honda CRV, which had been headed north on Road 132, driven by a Cutler man.  Upon impact the Honda rolled over and came to rest on its rooftop, at the northwest corner of the roadway.

A 3 year old boy, who had been an occupant in the CRV, sustained major injuries and was taken by helicopter to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.  The driver of the Honda was hurt as well.  He was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center.

Gutierrez received minor injuries and was also taken to the Visalia hospital.

A 5 year old girl, who was also an occupant in the Honda, was unharmed in the accident.

Motorcyclist Killed in Vehicle Crash at Avenue 192 and Road 192, in Tulare County

Tulare County Vehicle Collision Lawyer John Rozier has the following accident update; On Thursday, July 16, 2015, a motorcyclist was killed in a crash west of Plainview.  The pickup truck collision occurred at around 6:35 AM, at Avenue 192.

A 2005 Harley Davidson, driven by Ramon Carrasco, 55, of Ivanhoe, was headed westbound on Avenue 192.  The motorcycle was traveling behind a Ford F-350 that was hauling a small trailer, driven by Hotoy Morales, of Tulare.

The pickup truck tried to make a left-hand turn onto Road 192, when the biker tried to pass the vehicle through the intersection.  The Harley and Ford crashed, with the motorcycle hitting the left front fender of the truck.

Carrasco and his bike were thrown into the southwest corner guardrail of Avenue 192.  He suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident.

Morales did not receive any injuries.

Truck and SUV Crash After Vehicle Ran Red Light on Highway 41, in Fresno County

A vehicle accident leaves three injured after pickup truck runs a red light, on Sunday, July 19, 2015.  The SUV collision occurred on Highway 41, in Fresno County.

The CHP have reported that a man driving a pickup truck ran a red traffic light on Highway 41, at Central Avenue.  The truck crashed into a Sport Utility Vehicle that had the right-of-way.

After the impact of the collision, both vehicles ended up in the center divider.

The driver of the pickup suffered major injuries and was taken to the hospital.  Two other people sustained minor injuries.  They were also taken to the hospital for treatment.

The accident is under investigation.

Fresno Motorcycle Collision at Shields Avenue and Fresno Street

July 18, 2015- A motorcycle collision occurred in Central Fresno, on Saturday.  The automobile accident happened at approximately 6:30 AM, at Fresno Street and Shields Avenue.

The motorcyclist was reported to have crashed into the car, near a local Fire Station.  Firefighters said that they heard the crash and responded first.

The man who was riding the bike suffered serious injuries.  He was taken to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Hit-and-Run Collision Kills Man in Wheelchair, in Fresno, on Cedar Avenue

Wrongful Death Lawyer John Rozier has the following accident report; On Monday, July 20, 2015, a hit-and-run collision leads to the death of an elderly man in a wheelchair.  The pickup truck crash took place in East Central Fresno, at about 12 PM.

Jose Rodriguez, 83, was crossing the street in a motorized wheelchair on Cedar Avenue, at Floradora Avenue.  While crossing the street in his scooter, a white pickup, and a grey Acura automobile were reported to have been racing down the roadway.

Rodriguez was struck by the truck.  The pickup and the car sped off, away from the scene of the accident.  The vehicle was last seen driving north on Cedar.

Rodriguez died at the scene of the collision.

The suspect has not been apprehended yet.  He has been described at a man with a goatee and long hair.

SUV Crash on Highway 41, near Tulare Street, in Downtown Fresno

Fresno Collision Attorney John Rozier has the subsequent report; On Tuesday, July 14, 2015, an SUV accident occurred in downtown Fresno.  The vehicle crash happened on the Highway 41 freeway, near Divisadero Street, at about 6:35 AM.

A vintage Chevrolet Blazer, was driving northbound on Highway 41.  The driver of the Chevy lost control of the vehicle, near Tulare and Divisadero streets.  The Sport Utility Vehicle went off the freeway, up an embankment, and then rolled over.

The man driving the SUV reportedly was not wearing a safety restraint.  He was thrown from the Chevy and sustained serious injuries.

The driver was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, for treatment.

Big Rig Overturns in Accident on Highway 41, South of Fresno

On Friday, July 17, 2015, a semi truck accident happened on Highway 41.  The big rig collision occurred 17 miles south of Fresno, at around 12:15 PM.

The tractor-trailer was driving northbound on Highway 41.  The driver lost control for an unknown reason, and the semi flipped onto its side, near East Mountain View Avenue.  The big rig came to rest in the southbound lane of traffic.

The driver sustained minor to moderate injuries, and was taken to a local hospital.

Vehicle Accident North of Visalia, at Avenue 352 and Road 132, Child Injured

July 15, 2015- A car accident took place in Tulare County, leaving a man and child injured.  The vehicle collision occurred north of Visalia, on Wednesday, at around 7:21 AM.

A Cutler man, with a 3 year old boy, and 5 year old girl passengers, was driving a red 1999 Honda CRV north on Road 132.  At that time a 2006 Toyota Sienna, driven by Jose Gutierrez, 46, of Visalia, was headed westbound on Avenue 352, approaching Road 132.

Gutierrez reportedly, failed to stop at the stop sign, at the intersection of Ave 352 and Rd 132.  The Toyota crashed into the Honda.  The impact caused the CRV to overturn, and it ended up on its roof in the northwest corner of the intersection.

The little boy suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.  The Cutler man also sustained injuries.  He was taken by ambulance to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, in Visalia.

Gutierrez sustained minor injuries and was taken to Kaweah Delta.

The little girl in the Honda was not hurt, but was also taken to the Visalia hospital for observation.

Man Critically Injured in Motorcycle Collision on Ashlan Avenue, in Fresno

Fresno, Visalia, Bakersfield Collision Attorney John L. Rozier has the following accident report; On Thursday, July 16, 2015, a man was seriously hurt in a motorcycle accident.  The vehicle collision happened in West Central Fresno, at about 5:00 PM.

The motorcyclist was reportedly following a pickup truck, traveling westbound on Ashlan Avenue.  For an unknown reason, at the intersection of Hayes Avenue, the biker rear-ended the truck.

The man suffered major injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.  It is said that he is in critical condition.

Police have this incident under investigation.

Motorcycle Accident in Tulare County ends in Fatality, at Avenue 192 and Road 192

July 16, 2015- A motorcycle collision ended in fatality, in Tulare County, on Thursday.  The pickup truck accident happened west of Plainview, at approximately 6:35 AM.

The pickup truck's driver, Hotoy Morales, of Tulare, attempted to turn left onto Road 192.  It is reported that Carrasco tried to pass the Ford on the left side, through the intersection.

The motorcycle and truck collided, with the Harley hitting the left front fender.  Upon impact the bike and rider were thrown into the guardrail at the southwest corner of Avenue 192.

Carrasco died at the scene of the crash.

Morales was not hurt in the incident.

Fresno County Forest Service Fire Truck Accident, on Highway 168, near Clovis

An update to the United States Forest Service fire truck collision that took place on Sunday, July 12, 2015.  The SUV accident occurred east of Clovis, on Highway 168, at about 7:30 AM.  All the firefighters hurt in the crash have been released from the hospital.

53 year old Maria E. Constable, of Fresno was driving a Kia Sorrento on Highway 168, when she attempted to pass the fire engine in the right lane.  As the SUV merged, it sideswiped the truck, with the driver's side door hitting the front wheel of the other vehicle.

The U.S. Forest Service fire truck, driven by Derek Solden, of Mariposa, swerved off the freeway, and overturned multiple times, before coming to rest in a nearby field.

The Sport Utility Vehicle also rolled over and came to rest on the rooftop.

Fiver firefighters were in the truck.  All of them were injured.  Solden suffered major injuries, and passenger Lee Sands, of Groveland, moderate injuries.  They were taken by helicopter to Community Regional Medical Center, for treatment.

The other three firefighters; Ben Jongerward, Ryan Bakers, and Brittany Dowden, sustained minor injuries.  They wre taken by ambulance to Saint Agnes Medical Center, in Fresno.

Three of the firefighters were released from the hospital after the accident on Sunday. One was released on Monday and the remaining was released on Wednesday July 15th.

Constable was hurt, but did not go to the hospital.

Kings County SUV Crash Kills One, on Highway 198, in Lemoore

On Tuesday, July 7, 2015, a vehicle accident ended in fatality, in Kings County.  The SUV crash took place on Highway 198, in Lemoore, at around 9:26 PM.

A red Lexus SUV, was driving east on Highway 198, when it exited the highway at the 19th Avenue off-ramp.  As the Sport Utility Vehicle drove off the freeway, toward 19th Avenue, the driver did not make a left turn in time.

The Lexus instead entered the intersection and drove off the west-side embankment.  The SUV overturned many times and then stop in a nearby field.

Three people; the driver and two female passengers, sustained critical injuries.  The were taken by helicopter to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.  One of the passengers died a short time later in CRMC.

July 14, 2015- A Downtown Fresno SUV collision leaves one person with serious injuries, on Tuesday.  The vehicle accident took place on Highway 41, at approximately 6:35 AM.

Fatal Automobile Crash in Merced County, at Merrill and Hudson Avenues

Central California Car Collision Attorney John L. Rozier has the following report; On Friday, July 10, 2015, an automobile crash that ended in fatality, occurred in Merced County.  The vehicle accident happened near Dos Palos, in the evening hours.

The CHP have reported that a 33 year old man, from Kerman, was driving a Chevy pickup truck at the intersection of Merrill Avenue and Hudson Avenue.  Officers said that the driver's foot may have slipped off the brake at the stop sign, and his Chevrolet drove into the intersection.

The pickup collided with a Hyundai Sonata, that was driven by a 39 year old Los Banos woman.

The Hyundai's driver died at the scene of the collision.  A 13 year old boy, who was a passenger in the car, sustained serious injuries.  He was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.

The truck driver was not harmed in the incident.

Vehicle Accident, Involving 3 Semi Trucks, Occurred on Interstate 5, in Fresno County

On Monday, July 13, 2015, three semi trucks were involved in a collision on Interstate 5.  The Fresno County big rig crash happened at about 1:00 AM.

The tractor trailers were reported to have been traveling north on I-5.  The accident took place near Panoche Road on the freeway.

At least one person was hurt.  He or she sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Kaiser Hospital, in Fresno.

U.S. Forest Service Fire Truck Collision on Highway 168, near Clovis, Six Hurt

July 12, 2015- A U.S. Forest Service fire truck accident took place in Fresno County, on Sunday.  The SUV collision led to six people hurt, near Clovis, at about 7:30 AM.

Maria E. Constable, 53, of Fresno, was reported to have been driving her Kia Sorrento Sport Utility Vehicle on Highway 168.  She said she was trying to merge and passed the Forest Service fire truck on the right side of the vehicle.

The SUV sideswiped the other vehicle, and the driver's side door hit the front right wheel of the fire truck.  The Forest Service truck, which was driven by Derek Solden, of Mariposa, lost control and ran off the highway.  It rolled four times and came to rest in a nearby field.

The Kia also lost control after hitting the fire engine, and overturned twice before it ended up on its roof.

All five firefighters in the vehicle were hurt.  Solden suffered serious injuries.  Lee Sands of Groveland, sustained moderate injuries.  Both were airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.

The three other firefighters; Ben Jongerward, of Groveland, Ryan Baker, of Yosemite, and Brittany Dowden, of Madera, all had minor injuries.  They were taken to Saint Agnes Medical Center.

Constable sustained minor injuries and was not taken to the hospital.

Issues still remaining to be investigated include determining the speed of the vehicles, whether road conditions may have contributed to this accident, and whether the facts of this accident as reported are accurate.

Merced County Rollover Accident Kills Driver, near Dos Palos on Highway 152

Tulare, Merced, Fresno County Accident Lawyer John Rozier has the following report; On Sunday, July 12, 2015, a vehicle collision happened north of Dos Palos.  The Merced County rollover crash occurred on Highway 152, at approximately 3 PM.

A female driver of a white, 1999 Ford Mustang was headed west on Highway 152.  For an unknown reason the woman's automobile drifted off the roadway, east of Arroya Avenue.  The car then overturned.

The woman, who was a Hayward resident, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The cause of the incident is being investigated by the California Highway Patrol.

Semi Truck Collision on Avenue 237 and North Spruce, West of Lindsay

July 3, 2015- A big rig collision occurred in Tulare County, on Friday.  The semi truck accident happened west of Lindsay, at approximately 10:00 AM.

A tractor-trailer loaded with grapes was driving southbound on Avenue 237.  A Lindsay man, driving a blue pickup truck with a small trailer attached, was headed east on North Spruce Road.

The truck attempted to make a right turn and failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Spruce and Avenue 237.  The pickup drove right into the path of the oncoming Freightliner, and the two trucks crashed into each other.

The semi, upon impact, smashed through a power pole and overturned onto its side.  The pickup also rolled over after the collision.

The Lindsay man sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Valley Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.

The big rig driver, who was from Fresno, refused medical attention at the scene.

Six-Car Pileup on Southbound Highway 99, in Bakersfield

San Joaquin Valley Car Accident Lawyer John Rozier has the subsequent report; On Monday, July 6, 2015, a multiple auto collision took place in Kern County.  The 6-vehicle pileup occurred in Bakersfield, at about 5:30 AM, on Highway 99.

The CHP reported that the multi-car accident happened on the southbound freeway, just north of Panama Lane.  The incident blocked the two middle lanes of the highway for a couple hours.

The collision continues to be under investigation.  The cause is not known at this time.

Pedestrian Accident at Shaw Avenue, in Northwest Fresno

July 4, 2015- A pedestrian accident took place in northwest Fresno, on Saturday.  The automobile collision occurred at about 9:30 PM, in the area of Shaw and Polk avenues.

Officers reported that the female pedestrian was crossing at the intersection of Shaw and Polk, when she was hit by a car.

The woman suffered injuries and was taken to the hospital.

Fresno Police have this accident under investigation.

Police Car Chase Ends in Vehicle Collision at Rinaldi and Houston, in Visalia

Visalia Accident Attorney John Rozier has the subsequent collision report; On Wednesday, July 8, 2015, a car accident, following a police chase, occurred in Tulare County.  The vehicle crash happened  in north Visalia at about 4:30 PM.

A parked stolen Plymouth Neon, with two women and a man inside, was spotted by Visalia officers in the area of North Giddings Street.  As the police approached the automobile on foot, the Neon sped off, headed northbound.

The officers got in their patrol car and followed the Plymouth.  The officers broke off the chase as the stolen vehicle continued to drive at a high rate of speed through the neighborhood.

The Neon continued to speed away on Rinaldi Street, where it ran a stop sign at the intersection of Houston Avenue.  The auto then lost control, and crashed head-on into a Ford Thunderbird that was stopped at the north side of the intersection.

The three suspects then ran away on foot.  They were arrested a short time later in the backyard of a home that was just about four houses north of the incident.

The three victims in the Thunderbird, which included a child, did sustain injuries, but reportedly nothing serious.

Bakersfield Head-on Car Crash, on Panama Lane, Claims Another Victim

Head-on car accident takes another life, in Bakersfield, on Saturday, July 4, 2015.  The Kern County vehicle collision happened on East Panama Lane.

Jean Goyenetche, 71, was traveling on Panama Lane when another vehicle, driven by Jorge Hernandez, of Lamont, crossed over into his lane.  Goyenetche attempted to swerve out of the way, but did not do so in time, and the two cars collided.

Hernandez, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene of the crash.

Goyenetche suffered serious injuries and was taken to Kern Medical Center.  He succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital early Wednesday July 7th.

Gustavo Camacho, a passenger in Goyenetche's vehicle, sustained minor injuries in the incident.

Fatal SUV Collision on Highway 198, in Lemoore

July 7, 2016- A fatal automobile accident took place in Lemoore, on Tuesday.  The Kings County SUV collision happened on Highway 198, at about 9:26 PM.

A driver of a red Lexus Sport Utility Vehicle was eastbound on Highway 198.  The Lexus exited the freeway through the 19th Avenue off-ramp.  As the SUV drove toward 19th Avenue, the driver failed to make a left turn in time, and entered the intersection.

The Lexus went off the west-side embankment, rolled several times, and came to rest in a field.

The driver, and two female passengers suffered major injuries.  They were airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.  One of the passengers died in the hospital.  The condition of the other two victims is not available at this time.

The car accident is under investigation.

Update to Head-on Car Crash that Ended Fatally, in Bakersfield, on Panama Lane

On July 4th, 2015, a Lamont man was fatally injured in an automobile collision that occurred in Bakersfield.  The victim has been identified, in the Kern County head-on vehicle accident.

Jorge Hernandez, 28 years old, was driving without his seat belt on, traveling east on East Panama Lane.  Hernandez veered into the opposite lane of traffic, near Ino Madera Street, and hit another car head-on.

Jean Goyenetche, 70 years old, was the other vehicle on Panama Lane that Hernandez crashed into.  It is reported that Goyenetche attempted to swerve once he saw Hernandez's vehicle, but was unable to do it in time.

The Lamont man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Goyenetche sustained major injuries.  He was taken by ambulance to Kern Medical Center, for treatment.  A passenger in his car; Gustavo Camacho, 52 years old, suffered minor injuries.

Fresno Automobile Collision Injures Pedestrian at Shaw and Polk Avenues

Fresno Police are investigating the accident, which they have reported took place at Shaw Avenue and Polk Avenue.  The female pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at the intersection.

Car Collision Ends in Fatality for Pedestrian, in Visalia, on Dinuba Boulevard

Update to pedestrian accident on Thursday, July, 2, 2105, in Tulare County.  The Visalia man that was hit and killed in a car collision has been identified.  The vehicle crash occurred at about 10 PM.

Antonio Contreras Campos, 56 years old, was crossing Dinuba Boulevard, near Vine Avenue, when he was struck by a 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis.  The Mercury, driven by Genaro Diaz Cabrera, 38 years old, was southbound on Dinuba Ave, at the time of the accident.

Campos suffered major injuries and was taken by helicopter to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.  He was pronounced dead in the hospital.

Cabrera was not injured in the incident.

Multi-Car Accident on Highway 99, in Bakersfield, near Panama Lane

On Monday, July 6, 2015, a multi-vehicle pileup occurred in Bakersfield.  The six-car collision happened on the Highway 99 freeway, at around 5:30 AM.

The California Highway Patrol reported that the multiple car crash took place on the southbound highway, north of Panama Lane.  The two middle lanes of the freeway were blocked, until wreckage could be cleared.

Head-on Car Collision Kills One, on Panama Lane, in Bakersfield

July 5, 2015- A Lamont man was killed in a head-on collision over the weekend, in Kern County.  The Bakersfield automobile accident took place on Panama Lane.

The CHP have reported that the 26 year old driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was headed eastbound on East Panama Lane.  For an unknown reason, the Lamont man's car crossed into oncoming traffic, near Ino Madera Street.

Jean Goyenetche, 70, was driving a vehicle on Panama, when the other car veered into his lane.  He tried to swerve out of the way, but didn't in time, and the two vehicles crashed head-on.

The 26 year old died at the scene of the collision.

Goyenetche suffered serious injuries and was taken to Kern Medical Center, in Bakersfield.  His passenger, Gustavo Camacho, 52, sustained minor injuries.

School Bus Hit in a Drunk Driving Accident at McKinley Avenue, in Fresno

San Joaquin Valley Automobile Accident Lawyer John Rozier has the subsequent update; On Monday, July 6, 2015, a drunk driving accident took place in the Fresno area.  The school bus collision happened at about 8 AM.

It is reported that a car slammed into the back of a school bus at the intersection of McKinley and Cornelia avenues.  The driver then fled the scene of the crash.

There were kids on the bus, but according to reports, no one was injured.

Police found the intoxicated driver not far from the incident.  They have said that he may have been a postal worker for the United States Post Office.  He was arrested for driving while under the influence.

Fresno Tractor-Trailer Collision on the Highway 99 Freeway, near Jensen Avenue

On Tuesday, June 30, 2015, two semi trucks collided on the Highway 99 freeway, in Fresno.  The big rig accident occurred near Jensen Avenue, early Tuesday morning.

A tractor-trailer that was carrying onions was pulled over on the shoulder of the southbound highway.  A second semi truck was driving south on Highway 99, and crashed into the parked vehicle.

The impact of the two rigs sent onions and other debris over all the lanes of traffic.  The southbound highway was closed until the accident could be cleared.

The two drivers sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Pedestrian Killed in Traffic Accident on Dinuba Boulevard, in Visalia

July 2, 2015- A pedestrian accident ends in fatality in Tulare County, on Thursday.  The car collision occurred in Visalia, on Dinuba Boulevard, at approximately 9:45 PM

A man in his 40's was crossing Dinuba Boulevard, just south of Vine Avenue.  At that time a 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis, driven by Genaro Diaz Cabrera, 38, was headed south on Dinuba.

The Mercury hit the pedestrian, which resulted in fatal injuries.  The man was airlifted Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno, where he was pronounced dead.

Cabrera was not hurt.

The accident is under investigation.

Big Rig Accident Near Lindsay, at Avenue 237 and Spruce Road

Tulare County Personal Injury Lawyer John Rozier has the following collision report; On Friday, July 3, 2015, a semi truck accident took place west of Lindsay.  The big rig crash happened on Avenue 237, at about 10 AM.

A Freightliner carrying grapes was traveling south on Avenue 237.  A pickup truck carrying a small trailer, driven by a man from Lindsay, was eastbound on North Spruce Road.

It is reported that the pickup truck did not stop at the posted sign, at the intersection of Ave. 237 and Spruce, before making a right turn.  The truck pulled out right into the path of the tractor-trailer, and the two vehicles collided.

The impact of the collision sent the big rig careening through a wooden power pole, and then rolled onto its side.  The blue pickup also overturned.

The Lindsay man suffered moderate to major injuries and was taken to Exeter by ambulance.  He was then airlifted to Valley Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.

The semi truck driver, from Fresno, did not require medical attention at the scene.

Semi Truck Collision Near Los Banos, Kills One, on Highway 165

Tulare County Personal Injury Lawyer John Rozier has the following collision update; On Tuesday, June 23, 2015, a semi truck accident ended in fatality in Merced County.  The tractor-trailer collision happened on Highway 165, near Los Banos, at approximately 2 PM.

A white, 2016 Acura ILX sedan, driven by Thomas Watkins, was traveling on Highway 165, between Los Banos and Hilmar.  The automobile was reported to have been driving erractically near the area of Wolfsen Road, before it smashed into a 2005 Kenworth semi, driven by Jason Cann, 43 years old.

Watkins died at the scene of the collision.

Lori Cuffman, a passenger in the big rig, sustained major injuries.  She was taken by ambulance to the hospital for treatment.  Cann received minor injuries in the incident.

The CHP are now investigating the cause of this accident.

Vehicle Accident On Highway 178, Causes Fire, in Kern County

On Wednesday, July 1, 2015, a vehicle collision sparked a fire through Kern River Canyon, on Highway 178.  The Kern County car accident took place at 4:30 AM.

A sedan was involved in the crash, which occurred about 4 miles east of the mouth of the canyon, on Highway 178.  The automobile involved in the collision, traveled 50 feet down the steep terrain on the north side of the highway.

Two victims were in the sedan.  They both suffered injuries; moderate and minor, and were taken to Kern Medical Center, in Bakersfield.

A brush fire caused by the incident, rapidly spread up the hillside.  Firefighters were able to put out the flames after 50 acres burned.
