July 1, 2011--Yesterday's fatal crash at Highway 41 and Floral in Fresno County near Selma may be a repeat of the Gary accident which is currently in litigation. Two staff members from Lemoore Naval Air Station were killed by colliding with a big rig operated by Harry Haydon of Paso Robles.
That intersection has a very large median with no middle stop sign unlike any other intersection on that stretch of road. If this accident was caused by a driver crossing Highway 41 at Floral, then we should investigate this further and push Cal Trans to fix the problem.
