Fatal Semi Truck Accident North of Visalia on Road 80

On Monday, November 17, 2014, a fatal big rig collision took place in Tulare County, at about 7:10 PM.  The semi truck accident killed a Porterville woman, on Road 80 and Avenue 368, north of Visalia.

Olivia Thomason of Porterville, was driving a Toyota 4Runner east on Avenue 368.  As the Toyota reached the intersection of Ave 368 and Road 80, Thomason had a green light. The vehicle drove into the intersection and was hit by a Kenworth tractor-trailer.

The semi, driven by Navor Hernandez, of Bakersfield, was headed south on Road 80, and did not stop at the posted red traffic light.  It is reported that the big rig was traveling at about 55 mph when it collided with the 4Runner.

Thomason's vehicle was pushed across the road and into a Chevy Blazer, driven by William Celaya, of Dinuba.

Thomason died at the scene of the crash.  Hernandez sustained moderate injuries.  He was taken by ambulance to the hospital.  Celaya was not injured in the wreck.

Attorney John Rozier is located right in Visalia and would like to speak to the family of the accident victim.  Please contact him online at www.nelsonrozier.com, or give him a call at 559-713-0159.
