May 14 fatal train accident in Madera County

On May 14 R.D. Martin was killed in a train accident in Madera County. The accident happened on Avenue 12 near Road 32. Reportedly Martin's Ford Taurus some how came to rest on the tracks as the train approached. It is unclear whether it went through or around the rail road gates.
