The couple has been arguing on Flower Street. The man drove up onto the curb at Flower and Virginia Avenue, and drove into his girlfriend.
The man then took off in his truck, but then returned later to the scene of the accident and was arrested.
The woman was hurt, but her injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
