Bakersfield Man Died in Head-on Collision with Big Rig on Highway 166

Visalia Senior Citizen Abuse Lawyer John L. Rozier has the following collision update; On Monday, July 28, 2014, a Bakersfield man was killed in a head-on collision.  The semi truck accident took place in New Cuyama, southwest of Bakersfield, at about 3:20 AM.

Isaac Chavez, 29 years old, was driving a 2000 GMC Sonoma pickup truck on Highway 166.  As he was traveling down the highway, for an unknown reason the truck drifted into the oncoming lane.  The GMC hit head-on into a big rig towing two trailers, at Aliso Canyon Road.

The driver of the freightliner, Alfonso Moreno Jr., of Bakersfield, received minor injuries.

Isaac Chavez, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
