Denver school bus accident kills a 15-year-old girl

On February 2 a 15-year-old girl was killed in an accident with a school bus. The accident took place in Greeley, Colorado, just outside of Denver. The accident occurred when a teen driver, the girl's older brother, pulled out in front of a school bus while driving to school. A third teen was also in the car in the passenger seat. The two surviving teens were treated at local hospitals. No one on the school bus was hospitalized. The only injury reported was a sprined wrist. Accidents involving teen drivers are not only tragic, but all too common. Teens lack the experience and foresight that more seasoned drivers have. Educate your teen on safe driving practices in order to prevent tragedy in you family.
