February 23 pedestrian accident on Mooney Boulevard in Visalia

On February 23 a 76-year-old woman was hit by a delivery truck in the parking lot of Carrows Restaurant on Mooney Boulevard in Visalia. The woman was walking to the restaurant from her home which is close by when she was hit by the delivery truck. She was dragged about eight feet before the driver realized he had hit her. The driver said he did not see her. The woman suffered major damage to her leg and is undergoing surgery.
