September 13 accident on Highway 41 in Fresno

On September 13 there was an accident on Highway 41 near Elkhorn Avenue in Fresno that critically injured a motorcyclist. According to reports a box truck hit a motorcycle and another vehicle that were waiting at a red light.  All three of the vehicles involved were northbound on Highway 41. The box truck hit the two vehicles before losing control and ending up on the shoulder of the road. The motorcyclist was seriously injured and was taken to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno. The truck driver and the driver of the third vehicle were not injured in the accident.

As an update, our firm has been conducting a review of Highway 41 roadway defects between Fresno and Lemoore including an engineering review of those intersections without extra stop signs in the median.  We are handling a fatal accident which happened at 41 and Floral and Dr. Matt King of Selma with a doctorate in engineering has been retained to assist us.  Please give us a call if you would like the Elkhorn intersection to also be reviewed.  Attorney John Rozier  559-713-0159--we are located in Visalia.
