January 12, 2012- A motorcyclist died after a crash with a sport utility vehicle, in Modesto, on Thursday. The accident happened at 9:45 PM.
Aaron Glen Carrillo, was driving a 2005 Suzuki GSX-R on Tully Road, headed north. Gary Silva, was driving a black Nissan Pathfinder, southbound on Tully Rd.
Silva made a left turn onto West Union Avenue, as the motorcycle was coming into the intersection. The two vehicles collided, causing Carrillo to be thrown 30 feet off the bike. He landed over a fence, in a nearby backyard.
Carrillo was majorly hurt and taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries. It is reported that he was wearing a helmet.
Silva was not injured.
