January 13, 2012- A crash in southeast Fresno injures one woman seriously, on Friday, at about 11:15 AM.
An SUV, driven by Karla Santiesteban, was traveling south on Maple Avenue when she drove through the intersection of Maple and Jensen Avenue.
An eastbound big rig, driven by Wesley Nolan Ellis, of Tulare, ran the red light at the intersection and slammed into the SUV's passenger side.
The SUV's passenger, Teresa Santiesteban, suffered major injuries and was taken to Community Regional Medical Center.
Ellis, and Karla Santiesteban both sustained minor injuries.
