Update: Fresno County Accident Turns Fatal, North of Caruthers

April 21, 2014- An update to the fatal car collision that happened in Fresno County, on Monday.  The accident occurred at approximately 5:30 AM, north of Caruthers.  The driver who was killed, has been identified as Kamaljit Liddar, 47 years old.

Kamaljit Liddar, was driving a white 1996 Honda Accord on Nebraska Avenue.  It is reported that she stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of Nebraska and West Avenue, then drove into the intersection where her Honda was hit by a black Ford F-150, that had the right of way.

The California Highway Patrol said that this intersection is not a four way stop.  Only Nebraska Avenue has a stop sign, while West Ave. does not.

Liddar was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.  The driver of the Ford pickup truck was also hurt.  No reports on his condition, but he is expected to survive.
