Investigation Needed Into Car Crash Caused by Missing Stop Sign, near Pixley

Visalia Accident Attorney John Rozier has the subsequent collision report; On Tuesday, April 14, 2015, an Earlimart man was killed in a car accident.  The fatal vehicle crash happened near Pixley, in Tulare County, at about 11:51 AM.

The Earlimart man, 54 to 56 years old, was traveling westbound in a 2001 Chevy vehicle, on Wright Avenue.  The Chevrolet drove through the intersection of Wright and Elm Street, and crashed into a 2011 GMC pickup truck.

The pickup truck, driven by Juan Lopez, 24 years old, was headed north on Elm Street, and had the right-of-way.

It has been reported that the stop sign, which is supposed to be posted at the east side of the intersection, on Wright Avenue, was missing at the time of the collision.

The Chevy driver died at the scene of the incident.

Lopez sustained minor injuries.

Our condolences go out to the family of the deceased.  There is a possible case against the county for the missing stop sign.  Let our firm investigate this accident for you.  Call Mr. Rozier today at 559-713-0159 or contact him online at www.nelsonrozier.com.
