December 3 industrial accident in Lemon Cove leaves one man dead

On December 3 Christopher McPherson of Arizona was killed during an industrial accident at the Vulcan Materials site in Lemon Cove. McPherson was not an employee of the plant but was part of construction crew hired to install equipment to manufacture asphalt. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the accident is unknown at this time. While monetary compensation will not bring back the deceased, it can help support any dependants he may have left behind and cover his final expenses.
