March 4 wrongful death Highway 41 accident near Coarsegold

On March 4 Abraham Marquez Zamudio was killed in a wrongful death accident on Highway 41 near Coarsegold. Reportedly Zamudio was traveling northbound on Highway 41 when he crossed into the oncoming lane. The driver of the oncoming vehicle tried to stop but ended up spinning out when she was side swiped by Zamudio's vehicle. Zamudio then veered off the edge of the road and rolled down an embankment, hitting a boulder and tree as he went. Zamudio was not wearing a seat belt and as a result was thrown from the vehicle.
