The crash happened in the area of Highway 46 and Corcoran Road, when a Wasco man, 31 years old, was reportedly passing other cars and lost control of his vehicle. His car hit another automobile head-on.
The driver died at the scene of the collision. Officers report that he was not wearing his seat belt. His name has not been released at this time.
An elderly couple were driving in the other car. They sustained only minor injuries.
