Three Vehicle Collision on Bethel Avenue near Selma

March 28, 2014- A collision, involving three vehicles, leaves one in serious condition, in Fresno County, Friday afternoon.  The accident occurred near Selma, California, at the intersection of Bethel and Dinuba avenues.

A driver of a flatbed truck was headed east on Dinuba Avenue, as he approached the intersection at Bethel Avenue, he made a left turn, as a blue Honda Pilot was headed west on Bethel.  A driver of a pickup truck ran through a stop sign and hit the Honda, which then smashed into the flatbed truck.

Emergency personnel had to cut the driver of the Honda out of the SUV using the jaws-of-life, and he was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center to be treated for major injuries.

The driver of the pickup truck sustained minor injuries, and the driver of the flatbed refused medical treatment.
