February 1, 2012- A man died in Madera County, north of Fresno, after a crash with power poles. The accident happened Wednesday night.
Ryan Reedy, of Chowchilla, was driving his car south on Avenue 16, when he crashed into a power pole north of Road 21 1/2. The collision brought down some of the live power lines.
Reedy got out of his car and walked into one of the downed lines, electrocuting him immediately. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
