Fresno Man Dies in a Hit-and-Run Crash on Andrews Avenue

January 28, 2012- A hit-and-run accident results in the death of a man, in central Fresno. The crash happened on Saturday, at 11:50 PM.

Shawn Schulte, was walking south across Andrews Avenue, near Shelly Avenue, east of Armstrong Avenue.

A vehicle headed westbound on Andrews Ave. struck Schulte and drove off.

Schulte was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Later the Fresno police caught and arrested Austin Jantz. He faces charges of vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, DUI, and felony hit-and-run.
