February 10, 2012- A crash in Riverdale, south of Fresno, kills one person on Friday evening.
Alejandro Luna, was driving a Ford Mustang south on Marks Avenue, south of Wood Avenue, when the tread came off the tire.
Luna lost control of the vehicle, and the car overturned. Luna and his passenger Brenda Lopez, of Riverdale, where thrown from the vehicle. Neither where wearing safety restraints.
Luna was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
Lopez suffered serious injuries and was taken to Community Regional Medical Center. She is expected to survive.
