February 17, 2012- A motorcyclist died in a crash on Highway 99, on Friday. The accident happened at about 12:40 PM.
The crash happened on southbound Highway 99, near North Avenue. A vehicle made an unsafe lane change, which forced the motorcyclist to run off the left side of the roadway.
The motorcycle veered out of control and the rider was thrown from his bike and landed in the gravel.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.
