A Honda minivan, which was carrying two people and a baby, was traveling southbound on Highway 99, near Norris Road. The Honda lost control and left the roadway. The van then smashed through a fence at the side of the freeway.
All three occupants in the minivan were reported as having only minor injuries.
The California Highway Patrol have said that they are investigating the cause of the crash.
