A Chevy Blazer was traveling on Main Street, near Segrue Road. The 53 year old man was on the east side of the road and was crossing Main Street in between vehicles, and not in the crosswalk. The Chevrolet SUV was going about 40 miles per hour when the pedestrian stepped into the vehicle's path.
The man died at the scene of the accident.
