Porterville Motorcycle Accident Leaves Woman in Critical Condition

May 24, 2014- A motorcycle collision left a female passenger seriously injured, in Tulare County.  The accident happened in Porterville, on Saturday at about 2 PM.

Mathew Carazolez, 24 years old, was riding his motorcycle, with a 32 year old female passenger.  The motorcyclist was traveling down Westfield Avenue, near Beverly Street, when he lost control of the bike and crashed.

The woman passenger was not wearing a helmet, and suffered major injuries.  She was medi-flighted to a local hospital in Fresno.

Carazolez was also injured and taken by ambulance to Sierra View District Hospital in Porterville.  He was later arrested on suspicion of DUI.
