Mulitple Vehicle Collision on Highway 99 After One Car Catches Fire; Bakersfield

May 11, 2014- A car caught fire on Highway 99, in Kern County, causing a four vehicle collision.  The accident happened in Bakersfield, on Sunday, at about 1:47 PM.

The vehicle, which was northbound on Highway 99, burst into flames at Olive Drive.  The fire caused four other automobiles to collide.

There are no reports on whether anyone was hurt in the crash.  Further information will be reported as it is received.
