County Personal Injury Lawyer John Rozier has the following collision report; On Monday, August 3, 2015, an automobile accident occurred, near Porterville. The car crash took place at approximately 3:20 PM.
The CHP have reported that one sedan was eastbound on Avenue 184. At the same time another sedan was traveling north on Road 228. Road 228 has a posted stop sign at the intersection.
The vehicles involved were a Buick LaCrosse, carrying a man and a woman. And a Chevy Malibu, which was carrying two adults and one juvenile. The Buick was said to have collided with the Chevrolet. Both cars came to rest in an olive orchard at the side of the roadway.
Officers are still working out the details of the accident. They said it appears that the vehicles collided front end to front end.
Three of the victims, including the child, sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate. They were taken to Sierra View Medical Center, in Porterville.
