Motorcycle Accident Ends in Fatality, on Roberts Lane, in Bakersfield

Kern County Vehicle Accident Lawyer John Rozier has the following accident report; On Sunday, August 16, 2015, a semi truck collision ends in fatality for one motorcyclist.  The tractor-trailer crash took place in Bakersfield, at around 1 PM.

A motorcycle, driven by Donald Leon Williford, 55 years old, was traveling westbound on East Roberts Lane.  The biker tried to pass a big rig that was also headed west on Roberts Ln.  As the bike was passing on the right-hand side of the roadway, the vehicle veered to the left and hit the semi's trailer.

Williford sustained severe injuries and was taken to Kern Medical Center, in Bakersfield.  He died a short time later in the hospital.

The big rig driver was not injured.

The police report may take several weeks to prepare—in the meantime we can probably obtain a cover sheet of the accident report for the family of the deceased.  Please give Mr. Rozier a call at 559-713-0159, or on the web at www.nelsonrozier.com.
