DUI Truck Collision in Kern County, on Brimhall Road

August 18, 2015- A rollover vehicle collision leads to the arrest of a woman for suspicion of driving while intoxicated.  The truck accident happened in Bakersfield, on Tuesday, at approximately 3:40 AM.

A female driver, identified at J. Teagarden, 20, was driving a GMC Sierra truck on Brimhall Road.  Passengers; Richard Ellis, and Justin Pensinger were in the pickup with the woman.

The GMC veered off the roadway, east of Highway 43, and overturned.

It is reported that none of the truck's occupants were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.

Pensinger sustained serious injuries.  He was airlifted to Kern Medical Center.  Teagarden and Ellis sustained minor to moderate injuries.

Teagarden is now under arrest for drunk driving.
