Pedestrian Accident in Tulare County, near Sultana, on Avenue 416

On Sunday, August 23, 2015, a pedestrian accident happened in Tulare County.  The car collision took place near Sultana in the evening hours.

The crash occurred on Avenue 416 and Road 104, east of Dinuba.  A man stumbled in front of a silver automobile, driven by a female, that was traveling down the roadway.  According to reports the woman did not have time to get out of the way and the car hit the pedestrian.

The man suffered severe injuries and was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.

The driver was not hurt in the accident.

Dinuba Motorcyclist Fatality near Road 104

March 8 or 9, 2014- A motorcyclist was fatally injured in a crash over the weekend, near Dinuba, California.

The 42 year old, Dinuba man was riding on his Honda motorcycle down a private road that is near Road 104 and Avenue 388.  He was headed east when his bike hit two trees and flipped over into a field nearby.

It is reported that the man wasn't wearing a helmet and received serious head trauma.  He died about 45 minutes after the accident.

CHP report that it is not known whether alcohol was a factor in the collision.  They are continuing to investigate the fatal crash.

March 26 fatal accident in Tulare County near Dinuba

On March 26 Carmen Tovar died in a fatal accident near Dinuba in Tulare County. According to reports Tovar was driving a Honda west on Avenue 416 near Road 104 in Tulare County when she moved into the lane to the right of her and hit a Nissan. Both the Honda and the Nissan went off the road and each hit a tree. Tovar suffered fatal injuries in the accident. The passenger in her vehicle, Jessica Gutierrez, suffered minor injuries. Eliseo Pena was the driver of the Nissan. Pena and his passenger refused medical treatment.

September 25 wrongful death pedestrian accident in Dinuba

On September 25 a man who appeared to be a transient was killed after being hit by a car east of Dinuba in Tulare County. According to reports the man was walking along Road 104 when he was hit by a Nissan Pathfinder. The Pathfinder stopped then took off down Road 104 and turned onto Avenue 416. The victim was taken to Community Regional Medical Center where he died.
