SUV Accident on Mooney Boulevard and Mineral King Avenue in Visalia

A 17 year old boy was driving a 2008 Ford Escape, traveling northbound on Mooney Boulevard.  The Sport Utility Vehicle ran a red light at the Mineral King Avenue intersection.

The Ford smashed into a 2007 Honda Odyssey minivan, that was headed west on Mineral King Ave.  The SUV then overturned from the collision's impact.

A female passenger in the Escape suffered injuries and was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center.  The driver of the Honda also sustained minor injuries, but did not go to the hospital.

5 Vehicle Collision on Mooney Boulevard in Visalia

December 20, 2011- A crash happened on Mooney Boulevard between five vehicles, in Visalia, Tuesday. The accident happened between Visalia Parkway and Mid Valley Avenue.

The collision was caused after one vehicle rear-ended another, causing a chain reaction involving five vehicles total.

Only minor injuries were reported.

Two Vehicle Crash in Visalia Cause SUV to Flip Over

September 2, 2011- An SUV flipped over and landed back on its wheels after being hit by another vehicle Friday, in Visalia. The accident happened at about 6 PM.

A Chevrolet Trailblazer going south on Mooney Boulevard ran a stop light at Noble Avenue and was hit by a Chevrolet Cobalt that was driving east on Noble.

A witness to the crash said that the Trailblazer flipped in the air after the impact and landed amid the plants in the center median on the south side of the intersection. The Cobalt spun and came to a stop in the intersection.

The woman driving the Cobalt declined to be taken to the hospital. A four year old boy in the Trailblazer complained of stomach pains and was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, by ambulance. The woman who was driving the Trailblazer didn’t appear to have serious injuries, and she accompanied the boy in the ambulance.

June 19 wrongful death accident between Visalia and Tulare on Mooney Boulevard

On June 19 William Gifford's life was taken in a fatal death accident  between Visalia and Tulare on Mooney Boulevard. Reportedly Doris Fast turned her Chevrolet Impala off of Mooney onto Avenue 272 into the path of a Chevrolet Silverado. Gifford, a passenger in the Impala, was killed in the accident. Fast was treated and released at Kaweah Delta Medical Center for back and chest pain. Cory Alexander was the driver of the Silverado. he escaped the accident uninjured.

May 6 Visalia accident between Highway 198 and Noble Avenue at Mooney

 
On May 6 a car rolled over between Noble Avenue and Highway 198 at Mooney Boulevard in Visalia. Reportedly the driver of the vehicle was injured and complained of neck and back pain. April 28 wrongful death pedestrian accident on Mooney Boulevard in Tulare County

On April 28 a female was killed when she was hit by a pickup truck while crossing Mooney Boulevard near Avenue 264 in Tulare County. Reportedly she was standing in the road when she was hit by a full-size Chevrolet pickup truck that was southbound on Mooney between Visalia and Tulare. February 23 victim of pedestrian accident at Carrows on Mooney Boulevard in Visalia identified

The woman injured on February 23 in a pedestrian accident in the Carrows parking lot on Mooney Boulevard in Visalia has been identified as Elena Beth Beck. Reportedly the 76-year-old Beck was walking to Carrows from her nearby home when she was hit by a delivery truck that was leaving the restaurant. The truck was driven by Felipe Avina. Avina claims that he never saw Beck. Beck was dragged 8 feet by the truck before Avina noticed her and stopped the truck. Beck has severe damage to her leg and had to undergo surgery. February 23 pedestrian accident on Mooney Boulevard in Visalia

On February 23 a 76-year-old woman was hit by a delivery truck in the parking lot of Carrows Restaurant on Mooney Boulevard in Visalia. The woman was walking to the restaurant from her home which is close by when she was hit by the delivery truck. She was dragged about eight feet before the driver realized he had hit her. The driver said he did not see her. The woman suffered major damage to her leg and is undergoing surgery. January 24 fatal accident in south Tulare

On January 24 Ernest Hernandez Renaldi was killed when he rolled the Cadillac Escalade he was driving and was ejected from the vehicle in south Tulare. The accident occurred when he lost control of the vehicle on a curve. The SUV went off the road and turned five times, resting on its roof. Renaldi was declared dead at the scene of the accident. Four other people in the vehicle were injured. The injured include Sergio Lara, Andrew Torres, Angel Garibhy, and a 17-year-old boy. Lara's and Torres's injuries appear to have been minor. However, Garibhy was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center with head injuries and the minor had a punctured lung and a broken neck. Reportedly Renaldi was not wearing a seatbelt, had he been it could have saved his life. Speed may have been a factor in the crash. Tulare fatality kills Strathmore man in SUV rollover

January 24, 2010--Sunday's rollover accident involving an SUV resulted in the wrongful death of a Strathmore man.  4 others were injured.  The deceased was identified as 26 year old Hernandez Renaldi.  The motor vehicle accident in Tulare County took place where Mooney Boulevard turns into Foster Drive near Tulare.
