Automobile Collision in Kings County on Hanford Armona Road

May 27, 2014- A car collision happened in Kings County, leaving driver with major injuries.  The automobile accident took place in Hanford, at about 1 PM, on Tuesday.

A black Chevrolet, driven by Dale Ornellas, was headed east on Hanford Armona Road, where it is reported that he was driving erratically.  As the Chevy neared Olive Avenue, it smashed into a telephone pole at the side of the street.

The jaws of life were needed to cut the driver out of his vehicle.

Ornellas suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.

Paso Robles Jeep Collision off of Highway 101

May 30, 2014- A car collision injures two men in San Luis Obispo County, on Friday.  The vehicle accident, which occurred in Paso Robles, happened at about 9:30 AM.

John Manuel Carreras, 61 years old from San Miguel, was driving a Jeep on Highway 101.  He tried to turn from the highway onto Wellsona Road, and the vehicle went directly into the path of another Jeep, driven by James Patrick King, 52 years old.

The two Jeeps collided, and both drivers were hurt.

Carrera sustained moderate injuries, and King sustained major injuries.  They were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Motorcycle Crash Leaves Man Seriously Hurt on Highway 49

May 25, 2014- A motorcyclist from Los Banos was seriously hurt, during a motorcyle crash, in Tuolumne County.  The collision occurred on Sunday, at about 12:15 PM, on Highway 49.

The biker, Jorge Campos, 33 years old, was riding on a 2009 Suzuki GSXR750, travelling north on the highway at 45-60 miles per hour.  As he was driving, Campos missed a curve and the bike ran off the roadway onto the shoulder.  The motorcycle then hit a hillside, and the rider was thrown from the vehicle.

Jorge Campos suffered major injuries and was airlifted to Doctors Medical Center, in Modesto.

Fatal Car and Bike Collision near Ivanhoe on Avenue 328

May 23, 2014- A bicyclist from Visalia was struck and killed by a vehicle, in Tulare County, on Friday.  The car accident happened near Ivanhoe, at about 9:30 PM.

The 58 year old man was riding his bike west on Avenue 328, east of Road 156.  Jose Rivas, 48 years old, was driving his 1999 Honda Accord, westbound on Avenue 328, and hit the biker, while going approximately 45 mph.  After the impact with the vehicle, the Visalia bicyclist was thrown from the cycle.

The bike rider was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.  He died in the hospital from his injuries.
