Fresno road work to affect traffic

Several areas of Fresno will be affected by road work in the coming days and weeks. Dakota will be closed today west of Marks Avenue. The closure will take place from 9 am to 4 pm for a sewer improvement project. Valentine, south of Herndon, will be closed for 40 days starting yesterday. Crews will be installing an underground irrigation pipe. Motorists are advised to avoid these areas as much as possible.
