On August 8 one person was killed after being hit by a car. Reportedly the accident happened just north of Tulare on West Street near Zumwalt Avenue. Tess Wilker was driving north on West Street when she hit the pedestrian who was also traveling north. Wilker said she did not see the pedestrian until it was too late. http://www.nelsonrozier.com/
As an update, the black box data on the car may tell us its speed before impact. Also, the color of clothing worn, the activities of the pedestrian and the width of the road all come into play. Call us if you would like a full review of this incident.
