Three Vehicle Collision with Fast Food Restaurant in Ceres

April 30, 2014- A three vehicle accident sent a semi truck into a fast food restaurant in Stanislaus County, Wednesday morning.  The collision happened in Ceres, California, at approximately 8 AM.

The crash took place at the intersection of Mitchell Road and Hatch Road.  No word on how the accident occurred, but the Mckinney semi truck smashed into the Jack in the Box restaurant, and drove almost through the middle of it.

Police reported that two people in a car sustained minor injuries, and the big rig's driver was also hurt.  They were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.  One employee in the fast food restaurant was said to have been treated at the scene of the collision, but otherwise no one in the building was reported to have been injured.
