On Thursday, August 27, 2015, a fatal semi truck accident took place in Kings County. The big rig collision occurred near Hanford, at approximately 4:30 PM.
A 22 year old Hanford man was driving a Honda Civic south on 14th Avenue. A silage truck, driven by Mario Duran, of Corcoran was headed north on 14th Avenue.
The big rig slowed and started to turn left onto Fargo Avenue, without yielding to the automobile. The Honda smashed into the front corner of the tractor-trailer.
The Civic's driver suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno. He later died in the hospital.
Duran was not harmed in the crash.
This collision requires more investigation. Please give us a call, if you are a relative or are in touch
with the family, and would like us to investigate this accident further. We are
