A white Toyota automobile was traveling in the area of Shields and Leonard avenues. Bill Moua, 14, the younger brother of the driver, was also in the vehicle.
At the intersection, the Toyota and a Ford Edge crashed into each other. The impact of the collision sent the Toyota into an orchard, south of the high school.
Moua was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident. His brother suffered major injuries. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital.
There is no information if any occupants in the Ford were hurt.
