April 9 wrongful death accident in Fresno County: victims identified

On April 9 Geraldine Gardina and Richard Gardina of Oakhurst were killed in a wrongful death accident with a big rig in Fresno County. Reportedly the big rig was traveling west on Lincoln Avenue when Geraldine Gardina ran a stop sign and entered the path of the big rig. She was driving a pickup truck southbound on Cornelia Avenue at the time. The driver of the big rig was unable to stop and hit the Gardinas' pickup.
