Multi-Vehicle Accident at Highway 46 and Interstate 5 in Kern County

San Joaquin Valley Automobile Accident Lawyer John Rozier has the subsequent update; On Saturday, November 8, 2014, a multiple vehicle accident ends in fatality.  The Kern County car collision happened on Interstate 5 near Lost Hills, at about 3 PM.

Terry Mishler, 68 years old, was driving a 2013 Dodge pickup truck while pulling a travel trailer, on southbound I-5.  The Dodge traveled onto the State Route 46 off-ramp, at the same time that Joan Marie Albert, of Alto Loma, was driving her 2008 Ford west on Highway 46 and south I-5.

It is reported that Mishler did not stop at the red light and attempted to make a right turn onto westbound Hwy 46, right when the Ford entered the intersection.  The Dodge truck and the Ford crashed into each other.

The impact sent Albert's vehicle into a light pole, while the Dodge continued across the on-ramp where it collided with a 2004 Ford that was going east on State Route 46 to southbound Interstate 5.  The pickup truck then drove off the road and down a dirt embankment.

Joan Albert died as a result of the collision.  Mishler, and the other victim sustained minor injuries in the wreck.
