Ramon Carrasco, 55, of Ivanhoe, was traveling on his 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle, headed west on Avenue 192. The motorcyclist was following a Ford F-350 truck, that was carrying a small trailer.
The pickup truck's driver, Hotoy Morales, of Tulare, attempted to turn left onto Road 192. It is reported that Carrasco tried to pass the Ford on the left side, through the intersection.
The motorcycle and truck collided, with the Harley hitting the left front fender. Upon impact the bike and rider were thrown into the guardrail at the southwest corner of Avenue 192.
Carrasco died at the scene of the crash.
Morales was not hurt in the incident.
