Injury Lawyer John Rozier has the following collision update; On Tuesday, June 23, 2015, a semi truck accident ended in fatality in Merced County. The tractor-trailer collision happened on Highway 165, near Los Banos, at approximately 2 PM.
A white, 2016 Acura ILX sedan, driven by Thomas Watkins, was traveling on Highway 165, between Los Banos and Hilmar. The automobile was reported to have been driving erractically near the area of Wolfsen Road, before it smashed into a 2005 Kenworth semi, driven by Jason Cann, 43 years old.
Watkins died at the scene of the collision.
Lori Cuffman, a passenger in the big rig, sustained major injuries. She was taken by ambulance to the hospital for treatment. Cann received minor injuries in the incident.
The CHP are now investigating the cause of this accident.
