February 28 wrongful death accident on Highway 99 in Tulare County
On February 28 a resident of Porterville was killed in a wrongful death accident on Highway 99 at Cartmill Road in Tulare County. Reportedly the person sped through the off ramp, smashed signs, hit a tree, and rolled several times. Brianna Gonzales was the driver of the vehicle. Reportedly the vehicle was traveling too fast to negotiate the tight turn on the exit ramp. Gonzalez and passenger Amanda Perez were both wearing seatbelts and were taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center for treatment.
