March 1 Merced pedestrian accident on Ashby Road

On March 1  three-year-old  Edgar Hernandez was severly injured after being hit by a car on Ashby Road in Merced. Reportedly Hernandez ran off of his driveway into the road and in front of a Hyundai driven by Rosie Wedderbern. Wedderburn tried to brake but could not stop in time to avoid hitting the boy. Hernandez was airlifted to UC Davis Medical Center with moderate to severe injuries. http://www.nelsonrozier.com/
