March 22 wrongful death bicycle accident in Modesto on Claus Road near Scenic Drive

On March 22  William Foltz was killed in a wrongful death bicycle accident in Modesto on Claus Road near Scenic Drive. Reportedly Foltz was trying to cross into the left lane from the right lane when he was hit from behind. Witnesses reported that Foltz was wearing a helmet, had signaled, but did not check to see that the lane was clear before entering it. Foltz suffered serious injuries and was taken to Memorial Medical Center where he later died. the driver of the pickup truck that hit Foltz is not being cited at this time.
