July 19, 2014- A vehicle accident leads to a ruptured gas line and damaged building, in Tulare County. The car collision happened in Visalia, on Saturday, at about 11:15 PM.
A black, 2007 Honda Civic was reported to have been speeding with another vehicle, eastbound on Noble Avenue. The automobile tried to make a turn into the Walmart parking lot. Instead the Civic, driven by Juan Rodriguez, 22 years old, drove straight and struck a gas line and the Social Security Administration building on Noble Ave.
Rodriguez and one passenger were in the Honda, and neither were hurt in the crash. Damages for the building were said to have been around $5,000.
Officers reported that speeding was determined to have caused the accident.
