An investigation is needed into a car collision that killed a 56 year old Earlimart man, on Tuesday, April 14, 2015. The automobile accident occurred in Tulare County, near Pixley, at approximately 11:50 in the morning.
The Earlimart driver was traveling in a 2001 Chevrolet vehicle, going west on Wright Avenue. The Chevy failed to stop at the intersection of Wright and Elm Street. As the vehicle entered the intersection, it collided with a pickup truck, that was traveling northbound.
The truck, which was driven by Juan Lopez, 24, had the right-of-way. It has now come to light that the stop sign, that should have been posted at the east side of Wright Avenue, was missing at the time of the crash. Authorities have reported that this was a factor in the collision.
The Chevrolet's driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Lopez received minor injuries.
There is a possible case against the county for the missing traffic sign. Please call Attorney John Rozier as soon as possible so he can help you. 559-713-0159 or on the web at www.nelsonrozier.com.
