On Monday, April 27, 2015, a motorcycle accident took place in Oildale. The Kern County vehicle collision ended in arrest for one driver.
A motorcycle was reported to have been driving at a high rate of speed as it headed down Airport Drive. The California Highway Patrol said that the biker was weaving in and out of traffic, and then ran into the back of a grey Sport Utility Vehicle at Airport Dr., and Lincoln Avenue.
The SUV then proceeded to flee the scene of the crash. The driver of the vehicle was later found and arrested for leaving the scene of an accident.
The motorcyclist sustained injuries and was taken to Kern Medical Center, in Bakersfield.
