Bodu from December 14 canal crash in Lindsay identified
The body found in the Friant-Kern Canal in Lindsay on December 14 has been identified as Gregorio Aquilar. Authorities were alerted around noon on December 14 that a car had driven off the road and into the canal. The car was recovered later that day with the body inside. Apparently, Aquilar was driving his SUV near East Fir Street and Strathmore Road in Lindsay when he went through a guard rail and into the canal. According to the CHP Aquilar was driving at unsafe speeds and drowning was the cause of death. http://www.nelsonrozier.com/
