January 19 Highway 99 accident in Fresno seriously injures Selma resident

On January 19 Gina Freeman, of Selma, was seriously injured in an accident on Highway 99 near Orange Avenue in Fresno. Reportedly Freeman was traveling faster than 65 mph when the lane she was driving in ended. She swerved onto the gravel median. This caused her to lose control of the vehicle and veer in front of a Freightliner. Her vehicle was hit by the big rig then hit the guard rail. Freeman was taken to Community Regional Medical Center where she was treated for major injuries.
