May 16 Salida Train accident

On May 16 William Hamilton was killed when he was hit by a train in Salida. The accident happened near the Murphy Road/North Dakota Avenue and Salida Avenue crossing. The train conductor reported seeing the man running across the tracks and attempting to stop the train in time. He was unable to stop the train in time and hit the man.
